I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico with my wife Evelyn and our two little “fellas” Ollie and Buddie. I’m just a little fella to. They’re our dogs but to us they are like family. I work full time as Production Manager for Alpha-Omega Broadcasting, Inc., so I’ve been involved in television production for over fifteen years now. My photography is more than a hobby though I try to operate it as a business even though it is part time. I sell scenic prints, mostly the Sandia Mountains of New Mexico and I also shoot portraits, weddings and engagement sessions, business and corporate headshots. Some of my photography clients have included:
American Rivers, Inc.,
American Indian Law Center
National Park Service - Petroglyph National Monument (The Albuquerque visitor’s center sells postcards that I shoot for them and they also have a huge 4’ x 6’ print of the West Mesa on display in the visitor’s center gift shop.)
Schadler Kramer Group Advertising
Photojournal Press of the West.
plus many other national and local groups and organizations.
American Rivers presented one of my scenic prints to Senator Jeff Bingaman this past June at the Fifth Annual River Action Day in Washington, D.C. Read more about it on my blog!
From time to time, people want to know where my gallery is located. I don’t have a gallery other than my website, which only displays a few of the many photos I’ve taken throughout the southwest. Much of my scenic photography centers around New Mexico, Colorado and Arizona. There are many great photo opportunities in Central New Mexico along the Rio Grande Valley, which include the Sandia Mountains.
Some of my other interests are fly-fishing New Mexico’s small streams and rivers, especially with good friends. I am a “catch and release” kind of guy using single, barb-less hooks. I enjoy tying my own flies though I’m really not that good at it. I haven’t been fly fishing in quite a while, I should make it a point to go soon.
